What is the most efficient way to hand make ice cream?

like, in big batches. In school we made ice cream in ziploc bags, but thats not big enough, and electric ice cream makers are like thousands of dollars. And just out of curiosity, does anyone know how ice cream men make it, do they purchace those super expensive machines too?

You can purchase ice cream makers from just about any department store. They range in size, the biggest is a 4 quart — and the electric type will cost about $30, but the hand crank type will cost about $200.
Companies that mass produce ice cream have a series of machines, and yes they cost 100′s of thousands of dollars.
For in the home, you could produce anywhere from 12 – 15 gallons of ice cream in one day — a single batch in a 4 quart maker only takes 45 minutes to process. And if you had more than one, the amount would increase.
you can buy an electric ice cream maker for 50 bux at target and if you want to get really extravagant, get the kitchenaid or craftmatic mixer with the ice cream attachment. it’ll cost you around $200-$400 but, it cna be totally worth it
