Homework assignment from a motion graphics class I took back in `06. The goal was to take digital pictures of someplace we were unfamiliar with, make a short animation out of what you saw and start playing with the multi-planing effect in After Effects. I came across an ice cream wholesaler near Rosemead, CA and proceeded to take pictures of the ice cream trucks and assorted goodies. The music is a funky 808 hand clapping techno version of the gospel standard “Bringing in the Sheaves”. I found a recording of it online after hearing an ice cream truck playing it one day at the Rose Bowl Swap Meet in Pasadena!

The man driving that ice cream truck finally speaks out!

This guy was getting his “swagga” on in the middle of the street, then all of a sudden BAM!!! He get’s struck by an ice cream truck. Here is what really happened. Some annoying kids were chasing an ice cream truck and the ice cream man kept speeding up, trying to lose the kids. While that’s happening, this “gangsta” was getting his swagga on in the middle of the street. Cause as you all know, you’re not a gangster unless you dance in the middle of an intersection. The ice cream man must of been looking at the kids in his rear view mirror, then BAM!!! He hits this guy. LMAO!!!
