How to make ice cream from scratch?
I want to make vanilla ice cream, but do not have an ice cream maker. I’ve heard you can make it in a plastic bag? Is this possible & if so, how?

I’m planning out my concession menu on a movie theater I’m trying to open, and contemplating adding in soft serve ice cream & yogurt, which I think customers would like, but I’m afraid of the mess factor. Melted ice cream slathered all over the seats and floors? Ugh. But I think it’d be a hit, so I’m torn… got any solutions?

I don’t have a ice-cream maker and I live in a small village in Alaska where it costs for a bucket of ice-cream! And you can’t have it shipped here or it will melt! I prefer custard but any homemade recipes, tips, or links would be wonderful. I prefer chocolate but would like other suggestions as well. Thanks in advance.

I have an ice cream scoop in my kitchen, but I have never been able to make perfect ice cream balls. Does anyone know how to use the scoop properly?

I have managed to make perfect balls. I use the ice cream scoop and go around the sides like this:

And as I make laps on the side of the cart, I go deeper.
How much of the ice cream cones should you wrap with foil before you place them in the oven? I’ve been told that wrapping them with aluminum foil prevents them from burning, but do you just wrap the bottoms or pretty much the entire thing? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know a margarita recipe that you use and ice cream maker instead of a blender? I don’t have a blender but I do have an ice cream maker and would like to make frozen margaritas that are slushy.
