I feel like giveing my dog a treat and I want to make some ice cream. Can I have a recipe? Don’t include peanut butter because my dog absolutely hates peanut butter ( odd for a dog ) Is honey safe to put in ice cream?
I have pet’s milk. can it be used in a recipe?

honestly i wouldn’t give a dog ice cream. idk about yours but if my dog eats any dairy products or gets into a glass of milk her stomach gets very upset.
edit: OMG nicenokers omg do you not have a life cus you sure are annoying. i love making stuff for my dog. you must not be a REAL pet owner because most people who love their dogs do stuff like this.
anyway… http://www.i-love-dogs.com/dog-food-recipes/Frosty-Paws-Ice-Cream.html you could take out the peanut butter. or keep it in there. maybe your dog will like it in the ice cream? you never know
I dont know….but it would be easier to just go buy them some , they have it in ur grocery’s freezer near OUR ice cream u cant miss it, theres a dog on the box lol
Look up online a basic ice cream recipe, and you can add any of the following:
Apple pieces (make sure you do not include any part of the core! These are the bad parts…)
Carrot bits (can even be used as a flavoring, if you have a blender that can basically puree them!)
Pineapple (actually is good for dogs, and they seem to love it. Can also be used as listed above. It makes them not eat their own poo.)
Hot Dogs (I know it sounds gross to you, but your dog will LOVE it)
Liver (again, not good for you, but the dog will go nuts)
Hope this helps!
wow you must no life why would you make your dog ice cream?????????????????? Do you not have anything better to do?? Really? Oh my god this has to be a joke. If you really have that much time on your hands try going outside or investing in stocks or doing something that isn’t completely useless. Wow. Really?
i actually saw one in my local grocery store the another day… it had 4 cup of vanilla favored ice cream for i think 5 dollars? i bought some and my dogs sniffed and did not eat it but my friends dog loved it… look in the corner of the ice cream section and you will find ice cream for dogs if the store carries it.. other then that i also have heard making dog’s ice cream with dog milk powder.. i guess you freeze it in the ice cream machine instead of sugar or cow milk added…
Frosty Paws Dog Food Recipe Ingredients:
32 oz. vanilla yogurt\
1 mashed banana or one large jar of baby fruit
2 T. peanut butter
2 T. honey
Frosty Paws Dog Food Recipe Directions:
Blend all together and freeze in either 3 ounce paper cups or ice cube trays. Microwave just a few seconds before serving.
You could probably leave out the peanut butter.
I’m pretty sure that if you just buy sugar free ice cream(and don’t give too much) then Fido will be okay :]
just give your dog ice cubes or a big block of ice. our dog loves them and water is great for him. ice cream is full of suger, bad for dogs and never give them chocolate.
