How long does dry ice last? If I were to use dry ice in a cooler to keep ice cream and frozen pizza cold?
For 3 weeks I plan on staying in a motel room. The motel does not allow freezers or refridgerators in the rooms. Since I can’t eat out all the time I plan on having 2 coolers in the room. One with regular ice for milk, orange juice, lettice and cold cuts. I plan on having another cooler with dry ice in the motel room for ice cream, frozen pizza, waffles and tv dinners.
How often would I need to replace the dry ice in the cooler?

Days, depending on your insulation.
If the cooler has good insulation, and you don’t open it too much, i would say you may need to refill with dry ice every 3-4 days, remember that dry ice turns to carbon dioxide, so the cooler will need a small air hole etc.
