Is cookie batter safe as an ice cream topping?

I’m planning to do homemade ice cream and got a recipe for plain ice cream. However, I’d like to add chocolate chip cookie dough batter. Are there any health issues regarding the egg in the batter being uncooked and frozen along with everything?

I’m celebrating my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend, and I want to do something very special for him. Since he has quite the sweet tooth, I thought it would be a treat to have a customized regular or ice cream cake delivered to the house; so that when he opens the fridge or freezer, he sees it. Money is not a setback. What I do need, however, are some reasonable websites willing to deliver either an ice cream cake or a regular one. I am specifically looking for an ice cream cake website that gives the customer the choice of flavors.

I want to buy an ice cream maker/freezer. I have a KitchenAid mixer, but I wonder if the motor won’t get warm or worn out on the long freezing cycle? Anyone have any experience with this?

There are 3 types: convection, radiation, and conduction.
So I know the salt reduces the temperature of the ice so the ice absorbs more heat from its surroundings, which results in colder ingredients that freeze to make ice cream.
But what kind of transfer is this? I thought maybe convection, but I wasn’t so sure.

For 3 weeks I plan on staying in a motel room. The motel does not allow freezers or refridgerators in the rooms. Since I can’t eat out all the time I plan on having 2 coolers in the room. One with regular ice for milk, orange juice, lettice and cold cuts. I plan on having another cooler with dry ice in the motel room for ice cream, frozen pizza, waffles and tv dinners.

How often would I need to replace the dry ice in the cooler?

What flavor of ice cream? What brand and style? What size? What toppings? Any doable recipe is welcome — please, no "Take the best ice cream ever, add the best toppings ever, presto!" The more specific the better.

Best answer goes to the hypothetical sundae that sounds most delicious. Bear in mind that chocolate = ♥.

How do I avoid crystallization when I make ice cream?

I made a batch of strawberry banana ice cream and it didn’t thicken in the maker and I had a lot of crystallization when I froze it. The ingredients that I used were milk, heavy whipping cream, eggs (beaten), sugar, and the fruit.
Any suggestions for a beginner who needs help.

Are there ice cream trucks where you live?

And where do you live?
I’m in Iowa and ice cream trucks have been illegal here since before my parents were born. So naturally my friends and I are planning an "ice cream truck mission". We need to know what states do have ice cream trucks. Help?

My ice cream scoop turned black after washing it in the dishwasher and the black rubs off on anything it touches. It was a gift and I didn’t knwo that it couldn’t be washed (what kind of ice cream scoop can’t be washed in hot water?!?!).

Is there anything, any coating we can put on it to save it?
